PVC/PVG Solid Woven Conveyor Belt / Profiled Conveyor Belt
PVC/PVG solid-woven flame-retardant belts are specialised belts designed for underground coal mining as well as the metallurgy and chemical sectors. The solid-woven structure is infused with PVC or a PVC/nitrile rubber composite (PVG) to create a cohesive, monolithic core.
Key Advantages
- Flame Retardancy: Drum-friction surface temperature ≤325°C; flame-burner test with average flame-out time ≤3.0 s for the full-thickness specimen and ≤5.0 s after cover removal; propane burner test with undamaged length >250 mm.
- High-Strength Carcass: A solid-woven core of warp and weft filament interwoven with cotton yarn, giving high density and tensile strength.
- High Bond Strength: Impregnation with a special PVC formulation locks carcass to cover, resisting delamination.
- Strong Tear and Impact Resistance: The integral, non-laminated structure withstands material impact and mechanical stress.
- Low Elongation: Longitudinal and transverse elongation held to ≥15% and ≥18% for stable running.
- Good Abrasion Resistance: The cover compound balances flame retardancy, anti-static, and wear resistance to extend service life.
